AHA undertook consumer consultations in the form of focus groups, face-to-face interviews, written plain language surveys and telephone interviews. These consultations to assess their views in relation to the new funding initiative, have been with community service clients in all areas of Australia including people with intellectual and learning disabilities, and people with psychiatric disabilities.
