As part of the Commonwealth’s Bush Nursing Small Community and Private Hospital initiative, St Vincent’s was funded to engage AHA to develop a Strategic Services Plan. Following wide community consultation, a range of future service delivery options were identified which, would produce an increase in the efficiency of service provision and enhance or refocus the existing service.

These options were reviewed by all stakeholders and a future strategic direction was agreed upon, designed to enhance and maintain the long-term viability of the hospital whilst improving the community’s access to health services.
