With a PhD in Education (Evaluation) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Public Health (Evaluation) from the University of Auckland, Dee combines academic rigour with hands-on expertise. She has taught courses on mixed-methods research, public health and evaluation at both universities, making her a respected capacity-builder in the field.
Dee is skilled in multi-disciplinary evaluation approaches and is particularly passionate about designing theories of change, logic models and building evaluation capacity within organisations. Her expertise lies in developing robust evaluation frameworks to guide decision-making based on sound data.
At AHA, Dee plays a leading role in program evaluation and review projects. She is responsible for developing and implementing evaluation frameworks, engaging with clients and stakeholders and leading project teams. Dee’s comprehensive range of skills includes collecting, analysing and presenting qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring compliance with stringent ethical standards in research and delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
In her previous roles, Dee designed monitoring and evaluation frameworks for major organisations including Yarra Valley Water and the New South Wales Department of Education. She also co-designed an outcomes framework for the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and led evaluations for the Victorian Department of Health and the Victorian Department of Education.
Dee has co-authored several academic publications, presented at international conferences and provided expert advice on over 20 evaluation projects. Her collaborative approach makes her a partner who is trusted to deliver impactful evaluations that drive positive change.
