Eleanor brings to AHA strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, as well as extensive experience in conducting literature reviews and writing reports. She has a background in both clinical practice and public health research. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Master of Dental Public Health.
Eleanor began her career as a general dentist, before moving to the UK to undertake further study in the public health field. Prior to joining AHA, Eleanor worked as a research assistant at University College London Institute of Health Equity where she worked on research projects investigating inequalities in health and the social determinants of health in local, regional and national contexts. In that role, Eleanor contributed to Build Back Fairer: The COVID-19 Marmot Review, which investigated the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on health inequalities in England.
Eleanor has a particular interest in social and health inequalities and improving health outcomes for disadvantaged groups.
