Katie Cooper

Katie has more than 15 years’ healthcare consulting experience, underpinned by 10 years of clinical and research work. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Graduate Diploma in Health Economics and Policy.

She started her career as a hospital and community pharmacist in regional Victoria and the UK, working across a range of clinical areas. Her interest in clinical research prompted her to move into the pharmaceutical industry, where for five years she managed clinical research projects across many different therapeutic areas.

She then made the move to consulting, spending 8 years at Deloitte Access Economics where she lead an array of projects, including:

  • health workforce analyses
  • cost-of-illness and cost-benefit studies
  • pharmaceutical reviews and program evaluation.

Katie joined AHA in 2017 and works across our evaluation and administration projects. She is quick to understand new projects and different aspects of the health sector, enabling her to effectively consult with stakeholders, analyse and synthesise data, and draw findings together to produce meaningful insights and reports for clients.

Katie is adept at understanding and synthesising data to provide concise analysis, insights and conclusions.
