Stephen provides strong project management, data analysis and communication skills as a key member of AHA’s Evaluation and Advisory team. He is experienced in research and quantitative data analysis, and his qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Melbourne University with a focus on health economics and economic evaluation.
Prior to joining AHA, Stephen was employed by Justice Health in the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Stephen managed a range of sensitive and complex projects relating to the release of confidential health information. He engaged with vulnerable population groups engaged in the justice system, including those with lived experience of mental illness, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with a disability and people at risk of homelessness.
Recent AHA projects in which he had a major role include conducting the first ever audit of providers of Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care.
